People still eat less fruit and vegetables than recommended

In the recent survey, only 13% of the participants said that they eat recommended amount of fruit every day. The situation with vegetables is even more stressful. Only 9% of participants said that they eat vegetables every day. You should know that a government recommends eating 2-3 cups of vegetables and 1-2 cups of fruit, every day. The survey was released by the Disease Control and Prevention. The survey included thousands of Americans who were questioned over the telephone. According to a health officials, this is a serious problem.

In order to have a recommended daily intake of vitamins, minerals, fiber and proteins, you need fruit and vegetable. In general, all fruit and vegetables have the same benefit for your body and mind. However, organic food is a bit better. The goal is to make people eat more healthy food. After all, eating fruit and vegetables every day is interesting and useful.

People usually avoid fruit and vegetables because they don’t have enough time for going in the shopping several times a week, so they prefer food that can be stored much longer, or they believe that fruit and vegetable recipes aren’t delicious. Some people even believe that eating only fruit and vegetables is impossible. However, there are many recipes that are very delicious. Also, they are easy to make. You already know that eating junk food and fat food in general, isn’t healthy. In order to protect your body, you must increase the amount of fruit and vegetables you eat every day. At first, it may be hard, but after a few days, you will get used to it.
